Multicarrier power amplifiers support single and multi-mode operation for multicarrier cell extender needs. Designed to provide signal amplification and conditioning for both uplink and downlink signals, OneBase MCPA Cell Extenders support these configurations:
- 3 in 3 out with individual MCPAs for each sector to provide multiple sector functionality from a single sub-rack
- N+1 redundancy to support multiple sectors plus a single available redundant MCPA in each sub-rack
- Dual band to provide both 850 MHz and 1900 MHz operation from a single sub-rack
- 4:1 active combiner to deliver a maximum power of 420 W per sector
- 4:2 active combiner for dual duplexed configurations
